How to turn images into a PDF
Job applications, official forms and tax returns often require documents as a single PDF. Here you combine photos and scans in JPG, PNG or WebP format into one document, with one image per page. Your files stay on your device.
- Select up to 30 images and use the arrows to put them in the right order.
- Choose A4 with margins or a page size that fits each image.
- Create the PDF and download it.
A4 or image size?
A4 with margins suits documents that you print or submit to authorities and employers. Each image is placed on the page in full and centered. With “Fit image size”, every page matches its image exactly, which is ideal for photos and presentations.
Tips for readable scans
Photograph documents in daylight and straight from above so nothing is distorted. Use “Crop images” beforehand to remove distracting edges and to rotate photos taken sideways. That way, every page is easy to read.
Frequently asked questions
How do I change the page order?
The images appear in the PDF in the order of the list. Use the arrows next to each file to move an image up or down.
How large will the PDF be?
The images are embedded at high JPG quality, so the file size mainly depends on your photos. If the PDF is too large, first shrink the images with “Resize images” to a width of around 1,600 pixels.
What happens to transparent PNG images?
Transparent areas appear white in the PDF. For documents and photos, this is usually exactly what you want.
Can I add existing PDFs too?
This tool works with images. To combine your new PDF with other PDF files, use “Merge PDFs” afterwards.
