How to merge PDFs

Application documents, invoices and scans often come as separate PDF files. Here you combine them into one document in the order you want. The files are not uploaded but processed directly in your browser.

  1. Select two or more PDF files.
  2. Use the arrows to put the files in the right order.
  3. Merge the PDFs and download the finished document.

Getting the order right

The documents are joined in exactly the order of the list, and the pages of each file stay together. For a job application, a proven order is cover letter, résumé and then certificates and references, newest first.

Rearranging single pages

If you want to reorder, rotate or remove individual pages rather than whole files, open the merged PDF in “Organize PDF pages” afterwards.

Frequently asked questions

How many PDFs can I merge?

Up to 30 files with a combined maximum of 50 MB and 150 pages. A single file can be up to 25 MB.

Are forms and signatures kept?

The visible content of every page is kept. Digital signatures, fillable forms and other interactive features may be lost when merging. Check the result if you rely on such features.

Does the quality get worse?

No. The pages are copied unchanged and not recompressed. Text stays selectable and images keep their resolution.

Are my documents safe?

The files are processed only in your browser and are never sent to a server. That matters especially for applications, contracts and bank statements.
